I needed to use up some ripe bananas but as its so close to Christmas I decided to add a little Christmassy flavour. I wasn’t sure but they turned out very nice, at least all my family is very keen on these. They are very easy and quick to make too and don’t contain a huge amount of sugar.
Ingredients:
- 3 (very) ripe bananas
- 170g self raising flour
- 85g caster sugar
- 130g butter
- 1 tea spoon cinnamon
- Few drops vanilla essence
Method:
Preheat the oven to 190C. Mix all the ingredients together in a food processor until you have a smooth dough. I used silicone moulds, if you use metal ones you might want to grease then. Bake for approximately 30 minutes depending on the size of your moulds. Done!
